However, this year we went to Nana and Papa's house Christmas Eve (as stated in the previous post) and we didn't get home till around 9:30/10:00 p.m. Gray, of course, fell asleep on the way home so he was in a horrible mood when we got home and we still had to bake cookies. Needless to say, he didn't want anything to do with baking or decorating and he also didn't want Daddy to bake or decorate them either. However, Daddy went ahead and did it anyway because we were all ready to go to bed.
After a couple of minutes, Gray was in a better mood (it doesn't take him long to get over things) and decided he wanted to write Santa a letter. Of course Gray doesn't know how to write so he dictated to me what he wanted to say and I wrote everything down.
I thought he did a pretty good job on his first letter to Santa. And by the way, he did the drawing!
We left the cookies, milk and letter for Santa on Gray's table so Santa would "see it as soon as he came in."
